Export Viewtracker Data

There are three ways to export the data Viewtracker collected. Either via built-in CSV export, REST API or SQL.

If you are looking for instructions on how to export Viewtracker configuration information, please see How to create a Viewtracker Support ZIP.

For information on importing, please go to Import Data.

CSV Export

You can create a CSV of the numbers from the current filter or the selected date range in the global, space or content report. The metrics depend on which report you are accessing. We are listing all the options you have in each report below.

Global Report

You can export the Views, Edits and Creations via the “More” option in the report menu.

Search Report

→ Analytics Cockpit → Menu “Search” → Export → CSV

Space Report

API

An advanced option (interesting when integrating Viewtracker with other applications) is the Viewtracker - REST Reporting API.

SQL

The third option to export data gathered by Viewtracker is to utilize the table inside the Confluence database via SQL.
To learn about the Viewtracker table, please refer to Viewtracker Data Structure.
